Market Drayton Museum is run by Drayton Civic Society and is open to the general public on Wednesday and Saturday, 10.30am until 1pm from May to October.
The Museum is called the ‘Story of Drayton’ because that is exactly what it is. It tells the story of the town, past and present, using artefacts and archive material, all donated by the people of the town.
Archives are available for research by appointment only.

We are currently looking for new volunteers for stewarding to enable us to open more often, we also need help behind the scenes, looking after the collection and archives, carrying out research, or assisting with fundraising and social events. Training is given to new stewards.
